While everyone's pain tolerance differs, most chiropractic adjustments are not painful. In some cases, if you are already experiencing pain or issues before your visit, a chiropractic adjustment may cause temporary discomfort. But rest assured, you will be feeling better soon!

A treatment plan can vary widely from patient to patient. Dr. Johnson will customize your treatment plan during your appointment, and you will be able to discuss the plan in depth. An average schedule typically includes 6-8 appointments, followed by additional maintenance appointments should you need them.
-
Maintenance appointments are long-term treatment options to maintain spinal health. These commonly occur every 1-2 months. In Chiropractic care, we call these "tune ups". Similar to changing your car's oil, your spine needs occasional adjustments to prevent reoccurrence of symptoms.
-
Pain is a common struggle for many individuals, whether it's caused by everyday back pain, an injury, pregnancy, or work-related issues. Chiropractic care offers a homeopathic solution to help alleviate your pain. By receiving regular adjustments from a Chiropractor, pain greatly improves and can even disappear altogether.
-
Chiropractic adjustments are safe for pregnant women, and many techniques are modified for their comfort. If you have any concerns about the safety of chiropractic care during pregnancy, feel free to contact Dr. Johnson or your obstetrician.
-
X-rays provide a safety component when it comes to adjusting patients. Dr. Johnson is able to visualize the spine, in addition to touch, which allows more pinpointed care. X-rays also help determine the best course of action, such as creating a treatment plan or even what type of adjustment is needed. If you have any concerns, Dr. Johnson will address them during your appointment.
